Confused? Let me explain.

First, I’d like to thank Blogger/Blogspot for hosting my blog for the past two years. They’ve given great service, support, and entertainment. Obviously, that isn’t the reason I’m switching hosts. I really hope that this doesn’t reflect badly on Blogger, because they’ve done nothing seriously wrong. I believe that I’ve just outgrown the limited features they offer.

I love the idea that wordpress offers categories for my posts. I can label each post, according to what’s included in it. That way, if you are only interested in hearing about, let’s say, my pets. Click on the ‘pets’ category, and every post I’ve written and labeled about my pets will show up. Same thing with ‘EVP’ or “Hunter’ or ‘Photography’.  In effect, you can choose what you’d like to read about, if that’s how you wish to view my blog. I like that option, myself.

I also love the fresh layout options. The downside is that I can’t edit the CSS myself, unless I purchase a $15 upgrade to do so. Right now? Not hardly. I don’t have a need to dive into the CSS yet anyways, so it would be a waste right now. But later, yes, I’ll probably smoothtalk Hollie into letting me get it.

You’ll find them all right here. Isn’t that awesome? I was able to transfer my whole blog, a total of 100 seperate posts, here to wordpress, for free. I hope the move is worth it. I really do.
