Nuclear war, anyone?

Has anyone read this?

Apparently the leaders of North Korea have gone completely bat-shit crazy.

I’m sick of this shit. I barely remember the Gulf War, but the “War Against Terror” has been going on for most of my adult life. We’ve been in Iraq for nearly 8 years, and Afghanistan for longer. I can’t say that I’ve experienced the horror of war first-hand, but I’ve seen the aftermath of losing a loved one to war. My best friend lost a very close friend of hers to an IED. Travis Buford was on his way to help another soldier that had been hit by an IED. That was two years ago, and the hurt is just as fresh today as it was the day they got the news. I’ve seen her go through hell, and she was just a friend. God only knows what his family is going through.

I don’t want my kids to ever experience that. I don’t want our family to go through what Travis’ family goes through on a daily basis.

Now this bullshit with North Korea needs to stop. I will never understand what makes war so appealing to some people. Death and destruction and heartache and pain just don’t do it for me, I guess.
